The workshop is for all jazz passionate big bands, who want to give themselves new impulse and to be infected by Stephan-Max Wirth's verve and energy

In collaboration with Thomas Forkert a Cologne music arranger groovy and playable versions of the CD "fish&monkey" by Stephan-Max Wirth have been created for Bigbands. The experienced jazz and Bigband musician will rehearse the pieces, which are available at different levels of difficulty, with the band in 2-3 work intensive days. This includes rehearsals of the whole arrangement, different movements and also individual rehearsals with the rhythm section, where the needs of individual musician will dealt with. Finally a concert on a "home" stage will be performed. The program will include the newly learned arrangement, where Stephan-Max Wirth is also available to play as a soloist if required, as well as a pieces from the bands' own repertoire. Help and or advice can be provided to select the appropriate stage.
